Back in early 2023, our founder Gemma Blackwood was helping a friend understand why their business kept running short on cash despite decent revenue. After three hours with a calculator and too much coffee, she realized something—most financial advice either costs thousands or assumes you already understand the terminology.
That gap bothered her. Not everyone needs a full-time CFO, but everyone deserves to understand where their money goes and why certain patterns keep repeating.
